COUNSELLING

Sometimes we all have problems that are worrying. Think of a confusing jigsaw puzzle when all the pieces are difficult to fit together. Talking about a problem in counselling is like sorting out all the pieces so we can begin to build a picture that makes more sense to us.

If you have any questions about counselling, life skills building, coaching or working with a mentor send us an email at roger@r2rcounselling.com

R2R COUNSELLORS  R2R Counsellors  give you opportunity to talk about things that are concerning you, in confidence, with a qualified counsellor. What is discussed will depend on the individual; common themes are stress, relationships, change, loss and distressing, traumatic events.

Our R2R Counsellors recognize that it is difficult for young people to struggle alone with these issues. They know that children and young people sometimes just need to talk to someone who will listen to them.

All
R2R Counsellors are professionally trained and particularly interested in young people’s issues.

If you're a youth who's having difficulty with fufilling requirements set out by the courts, probation officer ect.. contact us and check out our RAisE Program

WHAT DO WE DISCUSS?

Sometimes it's difficult to talk to parents, friends or teachers about the things that are making us anxious. A R2R Counsellor is someone you can talk to in a different way, someone who will listen to you very carefully, who will not judge you or tell you what to do.
Counselling is about helping you work things out for yourself, making decisions and choices to help you look at things differently. It can help you to feel better about yourself.
Meeting with our R2R Team could be done INDIVIDUALLY, OR IN SMALL GROUPS.
We look at issues such as:

Parents separating.
Chaos at home.
Making friends/keeping friends.
I'm feeling angry but I don't know why.
Death of someone special.
Feelings about myself.

Topics also include:

low self-esteem, anxiety, spirituality, depression, drug abuse, loss  bereavement, sexual abuse, rape and problematic areas within relationships and careers.
