Success Means... Aggression Replacement Training START (Adult)
A comprehensive intervention program for youth & adults with aggressive tendencies.
Participants receive an education on enhancing social skills necessary for positive and healthy interpersonal communication, anger-control and decision-making.
One to one support is availible through R2R Counselling.
MULTICULTURALISM
This workshop was developed to raise awareness of the issues of Multiculturalism, Awareness & Diversity. It is intended to help young people understand the origins of racism and discrimination, and what can be done to prevent it from continuing. One to one support is availible through R2R Counselling.
R2R recognizes the dignity of every person as having equal rights and opportunities without discrimination.
DEALING WITH ABUSE
This workshop focuses on four areas:
Psychological Abuse- Can include excessive jealousy and attempts to control the partner's time, activities,even how they dress. Psycholigical abuse can also include being harassed, having possessions destroyed, being denied affection, or threats to harm themselves or their partner.
Verbal Abuse- Includes constant criticism, name calling,and put - downs.It includes unjust blaming, or false accusations about loyalities or sexual actions.It can include repeated threats not only against the partner, but also the partners's friends.
Sexual Abuse- Inappropriate comments,texts,emails. The person may be forced to perform sexual acts against their will or to suffer pain or injury during sex. It can also include being infected by a STD.

CPI - NON VIOLENT CRISIS INTERVENTION
The Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® training program is a holistic behavior management system based on the philosophy of providing the best Care, Welfare, Safety, and Securitysm for staff and those in their care, even during the most violent moments. The program focuses on preventing disruptive behavior by communicating with individuals respectfully and with concern for their well-being. The program teaches physical interventions only as a last resort—when an individual presents an imminent danger to self or others—and all physical interventions taught are designed to be non harmful, noninvasive, and to maintain the individual’s dignity. Follow-up debriefing strategies are also key components of the training program.
